Join Kortney, who lives with multiple food allergies, asthma and eczema, and Dr. Payel Gupta, a triple board-certified doctor who works in New York City, as they discuss allergies, asthma and immunology in an uncomplicated way. Dr. Gupta wants to make sure you are getting accurate information about these conditions so that Dr. Google isn’t your only resource. And Kortney wants to make sure Dr. Gupta doesn’t get lost in medical jargon and approaches the topics from a patient perspective.

Whether you have been living with an allergic or immunologic condition, are newly diagnosed, a family member or a friend, Dr. Gupta and Kortney want to help you navigate through the confusion that comes with this diagnosis.
Dr. Payel Gupta
Dr. Payel Gupta is triple board certified in Allergy & Immunology, Pediatrics and Internal Medicine. She earned her medical degree from Michigan State University, and then pursued a residency in both Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago. She then moved to New York City where she completed a fellowship in Allergy and Immunology at the State University of New York, Downstate Medical Center.
Dr. Gupta is a visiting professor at both SUNY Downstate Medical Center and Mt. Sinai Medical Center in New York.
She is a member of a number of professional organizations including the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology and the New York Allergy and Asthma Society. She is currently on the board of the New York Allergy and Asthma Society and serves as the treasurer/ secretary.
She is also involved with the American Lung Association to help improve education about lung health and serves as a volunteer National Spokesperson.
She also suffers from asthma, eczema and environmental allergies and knows what it’s like to be a patient! She lives in Brooklyn, NY. Dr. Gupta loves to travel, dance and spend time with family and friends.

Kortney Kwong Hing
Kortney Kwong Hing has only known life with multiple food allergies, asthma and eczema. She has multiple food allergies including peanuts, tree nuts, sesame, soy, sunflower seeds, poppy seeds, lobster, peas, lupin and more. She also has OAS (oral allergy syndrome).
Kortney became involved in the allergy community when she started her blog Allergy Girl Eats in 2015, which is now retired.
She is the co-founder of the nonprofit The Zestfull, which is on a mission to empower, support and improve the emotional, physical and social well-being of individuals managing food allergies, asthma and eczema.
Kortney is also a co-founder of the Allergy Travels online community.
She wants to empower those with allergies, eczema, and asthma to live life to the fullest and not let their condition hold them back.
Kortney loves to travel, cook, eat, and play with her dog, Belmont. She is from Toronto and currently lives in Berlin Germany.
