What you should know about allergic reactions to the Covid-19 vaccines.

Dr. Purvi Parikh joins us to talk about the two available Covid-19 vaccines currently available. Dr. Parikh and Dr. G discuss the nitty-gritty of the two mRNA vaccines and the allergic reactions associated with them.

Dr .Parikh is a double-board certified by the American Board of Allergy and Immunology and the American Board of Internal Medicine. During the pandemic, in addition to taking care of patients, she is an investigator/researcher in two of the Covid-19 vaccine trials at NYC Langone Health's vaccines centre. Dr. Parikh is a clinical instructor of medicine and pediatrics at New York University School of Medicine.

Dr. Parikh is widely published and has spoken at medical meetings on national and international levels. She is active in several major medical associations, including the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, the American Thoracic Society, the Federation of Clinical Immunology Societies, the World Association for Sarcoidosis and Other Granulomatous Disorders and the America College of Physicians, where she sits on the health and public policy committee.
